Formula 10.0.6 Skincare

So I’m finally posting this blog post – I’ve had a version of this in my drafts for so long that I sort of just forgot about it until I reached for one of the products.

I received 4 Formula 10.0.06 products free when I subscribed to Cosmopolitan magazine. The subscription was pretty cheap for the year so I decided it was worth doing to get some freebies to try out.

I was so intrigued when they arrived in the post, the packages of the product are simple yet inviting. Each product is quite big as well and contains a lot of product, I was surprised by this to be honest as I assumed that they’d be smaller considering they were free gifts.

‘Best Face Forward Daily Foaming Cleanser’

This was my favourite out of the four products. I love a foaming cleanser and find that is always makes my complexion feel cleaner. A little goes a long way with this cleanser as well, you only need a small amount to cleanse your whole face. This is the product I’ve gotten the most use out of.

‘One Smooth Operator Pore Clearing Face Scrubs’

I have to say this is one of the best facial scrubs I have used, the scrub itself doesn’t feel too harsh on the skin but it leaves the skin feeling smooth and clearer. My skin feels great after using this product, definitely one I’ll keep using.

‘Pores Be Pure, Skin Clarifying Mud Mask’

I was a little disappointed with this one, I was so excited at first as I thought ‘yay finally something to sort my pores out’ and I wasn’t disappointed. My pores aren’t as easy to see after use and definitely look reduced. However, there is a burning/tingling sensation when the product is first applied which freaks me out a little (even though it says on the back it’s normal). I do however like how my face feels after using the mask, my skin definitely does feel a little lighter.

‘Seriously Shine Free Mattifying Oil-Free Moisturizer’

(How ironic this picture has a shiny patch on it, aye)

This may work for other people, I’m not sure but I found this product way too drying for my face. The cream is super thick and does feel a little greasy when on the face, it doesn’t absorb immediately. Again, not sure if this is just me but I feel like this product has a really weird smell as well. It makes my skin feel tighter but I’m just not a fan of how dry it feels when applied to my face.

Have you tried any of these products before? Or would you be interested in trying any?

Would love to hear what you think!

Hope you’re enjoying blogtober so far, your Halloween posts will be coming soon (can’t wait woo). I’m proud I’ve actually managed to keep this up for 5 days – let’s hope I can keep on going.

Have a lovely day all.
