So you may have read in my post about my visit to London that my boyfriend bought me something from the Huda Beauty counter when we were there (how exciing eeeeek).
Originally I was going to get a full sized liquid lipstick but unfortunately they had barely any left. The lady working there was super helpful with telling me about other products that they sold that included the shade I wanted.
I settled on a lip contour set. It came with the original shade that I wanted (Trophy Wife), a lip liner in the shame shade (Trophy Wife) and another shade (Muse). This lip contour set was £29 (shout out to my boyfriend for getting it for me – thanks baby eeek).
The lip liner is super creamy, not too harsh of a pencil feel when you’re applying it. The liquid lipsticks are super durable and stay on even when you have been eating/drinking. The shades are both so creamy and feel so amazing on the lips. They’re super pigmented and the colour lasts a really long time – can be a little bit tough to come off but worth it for such a good product.
This is the shade Trophy Wife, this is the first shade that I fell in love with. It’s just such a gorgeous colour that I think can work well with a lot of looks.
The shade Muse is slightly lighter than Trophy Wife, it’s super wearable and looks great with Trophy Wife or on it’s own.
Whilst I still haven’t quite grasped how to lip contour like a pro (I can barely face contour), I do love this little set. The quality of the liquid lipsticks is fabulous, they feel light on the lips without drying them out (always a massive plus).
This was my attempt at the lip contour, whilst it’s not awful it’s not the best. I’ll keep trying as it’s a look that I really like and practice makes perfect, aye? The back of the packaging comes with instructions on how to lip contour. I think this is a really cool feature as it was something I had no idea how to try out at first.
I think this product is really good and I love the fact that the two liquid lipsticks are mini, this makes them so easy to carry around with you. I definitely want to try more shades in this product as they’re really high quality and Huda Beauty has so many beautiful shades.
Trying this product out has definitely made me want to try more Huda Beauty products in the future as well. Have you tried any Huda products? If so – what products and what did you think? Would love to hear any recommendations that you have.
Thank you for stopping by.
