Fiery eye look

So I meant to post this just before I went away but I got distracted with other things (got a lil obsessed with Jane the Virgin) and ended up forgetting i’d even created this look.

I have wanted to make a post like this for a while but i’d been getting super nervous about posting pictures of myself here (idk why, just little miss awky pants).

I am so in love with bold make up looks at the moment and regularly find myself getting a bit carried away and end up going to work or to the shops with a full face of make-up and a bit of an over the top eye look for 11 o’clock in the morning but ah well. It’s all fun and who can blame a gal for wanting to add a bit of zazz to a day of work (is zazz a word or?? idk but it sounds good.. probably better with my hand movement but ah well, you get the point).

I feel so self conscious about posting this picture of myself but I love the shape I created and once it’s posted i’ll just pretend it’s not me (aye)

I used my two revolution make up palettes to create this firey look and I really liked how it came out. It was pretty simple to create and is made up of mostly gold and reddy/orangey colours.

ugh my eyes look weird asf, i’m so not there with the cute ‘this is my makeup pose yet’

i started the base off with a primer then covered the whole lid with a neutral light brown. I then worked into the corners with a gold before blending a dark orange into the outside. I’m sorry this is such a vague description, I just created this look a couple weeks ago and this is my first time doing something like this. I’d love to go into making my own youtube videos at some point but atm hearing the sound of my own voice still makes me cringe so not too sure when i’ll get over that one.

Let me know what you think of this post, i’d love to hear from you (please don’t be too brutal though, I’m a sensitive lil egg).
