Too Faced Make-up Haul

After much consideration I decided to get Too Faced’s Born This Way foundation. Lucky for me the day that I bought it Debenhams had 15% off (yay go me). I somehow got roped into buying their hangover primer and a melted latex liquid lipstick (I’m so easily convinced lol) so my purchase of one product turned into a mini haul (oops).

I had wanted to try out more Too Faced products for a while after falling in love with their Sweet Peach palette ( you can read my post about that here).

Along with my purchases I got 2 free samples. One was a mini melted matte lipstick in ‘Sell Out’. The other was a mini 3-in-1 hangover replenishing primer and setting spray.

Sample Melted Matte Lipstick (Sell Out)

These samples are so cute, I absolutely love the mini lipstick. The shade is so beautiful and definitely one that I will be repurchasing when the sample runs out – I also love the size of the lipstick as it fits so well in my handbag which makes for easy top-ups. The formula of the lipstick is gorgeous – it’s not drying at all but stays put so well whilst you’re eating and drinking.

Sample 3-in-1 Hangover Replenishing Primer And Setting Spray

I’ve used the Hangover replenishing primer and setting spray more as a setting spray rather than a primer but I am loving how well it keeps my make up in place. It feels light on the skin and I’ve found that it does a really good job of making sure my make up doesn’t budge. This product is super hydrating as well (some other setting sprays I’ve tried have left my skin feeling a little dry).

Born This Way Foundation – £29.00 (Swan)

I bought the Born This Way Foundation in the shade ‘Swan’. This is one of the lightest shades the do in the foundation, the shade is such a great match for my skin tone and I absolutely love it. With some foundations I find that they give my skin an orange/unnatural tint but this one really doesn’t. It’s medium coverage which can be built up to full, I usually always go for a full coverage foundation but have been finding these a bit thick at the moment so wanted to try something different. I’m loving this foundation, it gives an airbrushed look to the skin without being too full on. It’s so easy to blend into the skin to give a seamless finish – you literally wouldn’t even know it was there! It doesn’t make your skin look at all cakey and is super breathable. I find that this foundation lasts all day especially when used with the Hangover primer. I absolutely love the packaging for this too, I think that the glass bottle is really fancy looking and I like how the pump stops you from wasting any precious foundation.

Hangover Replenishing Face Primer – £27.00

I fell in love with this product from the first use, it’s so smooth and feels absolutely amazing on the skin. It definitely makes my foundation last longer and feel smoother when I apply it. This primer provides such a great base for the rest of my make up, it’s super hydrating to the skin as well which I absolutely love. This product smells so good as well, I think it’s the coconut that just smells amazing. I absolutely love using this product, I’d be happy with it for the smell alone to be honest. I really like the packaging of this product as well, it’s really easy to use and the applicator makes sure that you’re not wasting any product and only using enough of the product to cover your face.

Melted Matte Lipstick – £21.00 (Queen B)

I am so obsessed with this shade. It’s such a beautiful pinky/nude colour that is so wearable. I had been looking for a shade like this forever so when I saw this one I just couldn’t resist buying it. This is the first melted matte lipstick I’ve tried from Too Faced, I’d heard such good things about this product but had just never gotten around to trying it. I absolutely love how smooth the lipstick feels when applied to the lips – it’s glides onto the lips and feels amazing. It gives a gorgeous matte finish without drying your lips out. I absolutely love the applicator and how easy it is to apply to the lips, cannot recommend this lipstick enough. I’m so in love.

This haul has definitely made me want to try more Too Faced products in the future. I am so happy with all of these products and really glad that I took the risk to try them out. I cannot recommend these products enough – seriously if you’re looking for a new primer the Hangover primer is amazing and works absolute wonders!

Have you tried any of Too Faced products? If so, what did you think? Would love to hear what you think!

I’ve been wanting to try too faced for ages but the price always puts me off a little bit. Do you think the primer was worth it?
