Something that’s been bugging me

(this is my face when I think about all those things that bug me).

This is just a short post today about something that has been bugging me for a while.

So this is not exactly a new issue and i’m probably not the first person to think this but what’s the deal with clothes websites always showing their clothes on like a impossibly tall and thin goddess’? Why can’t we have a little variation?

I’m not even saying it to be controversial, I would just like to see how the clothes would fit on someone with a body type more similar to mine. I’m not saying they need to show the outfit on every different body type because that would be impossible but it would be nice if they showed it on 2/3 models just to show some variations. The amount of times I’ve bought clothes online knowing fully well it’ll look very different on me than it does on the size 8 leggy model, just to find that the sizing is too small on my boobs and then baggy in other areas. Looking at clothes online can be so much easier as it means you can do it from the comfort of your own home but I always find myself getting so stressed out with sizes.

What do you think? Have you ever had a similar problem with this? Would love to hear your views on this and whether you agree or disagree with me.

I feel the same way! It would be very helpful to be able to see just what the clothes would look like on me, or any ‘average’ person for that matter.

I’m glad it’s not just me, it’s something I’m getting so fed up with. It’s always such a gamble ordering something online.

Yes Yes and Yes! I am a strange shape as my top half is bigger than my bottom half as I have big boobs and weight goes to my tummy (I think Im an apple shape) Its so hard to buy clothes online fr my shape as they just dont cater for ladies that are shaped that way! It frustrates me no end

I’m similar, weight goes straight to my stomach as well so it’s such a hassle trying to find clothes online to fit me right. I’m so fed up of not being able to buy stuff without having the stress of having to return it afterwards. It’s so ridiculous that it’s still such a problem!
